Remotion writes videos as React components — every frame is code, rendered by headless Chrome and encoded with FFmpeg. Because a video becomes code + data, it can be templated, translated and rendered at scale (locally or in parallel on AWS Lambda). It can make: data-viz/charts, personalized-at-scale recaps, short-form captioned clips, AI/faceless pipelines, code explainers, audiograms, subtitles, marketing explainers, interactive in-browser video, and 3D. It is free for individuals and ≤3-employee companies.
